The AGRITECH EU First-Level Specialisation Programme in Digital Agriculture 5.0 for Sustainable Development (“Agricoltura digitale 5.0 per lo sviluppo sostenibile) equips professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to support the digital transformation of the agricultural sector by integrating technological, agronomic, and managerial expertise to promote more efficient, innovative, and sustainable farming systems.
The programme adopts a learning-by-doing approach, combining lectures, hands-on laboratories, e-learning activities, and case studies to ensure participants acquire practical skills that can be immediately applied in professional settings.

Admission Requirements
The Specialisation Programme is limited to 50 participants.
Applications are open to:
- Regular participants (“studente ordinario”), holding at least a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent first-cycle university qualification;
- Auditing participants (“studente uditore”), who do not meet the formal admission requirements but wish to attend the programme without obtaining the qualification.

Following the selection process, the list of admitted participants will be published. Enrolment will be completed upon payment of the first tuition instalment by 8 January 2027.
Tuition Fees
Regular Participants
Total tuition fee: €4,000, payable in three instalments:
- €1,600 by 8 January 2027;
- €400 by 15 April 2027;
- €2,000 by 15 June 2027.
Auditing Participants
Total tuition fee: €2,000, payable in a single instalment.
Financial Support
Scholarships
30 scholarships funded by the European Commission are available, each covering 50% of the tuition fee. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of applicants’ ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) and academic and professional qualifications.
Italian Regional Higher Education Vouchers
Enrolled participants may apply for higher education vouchers offered by their Region or Autonomous Province, subject to the relevant funding calls.
PA 110 e lode Agreement (for Italian public sector employees)
The AGRITECH EU Specialisation Programme participates in the PA 110 e lode initiative for Italian public sector employees. Eligible applicants must declare their intention to benefit from the agreement during the enrolment process.

The Specialisation Programme is jointly organised by the Department of Agriculture, Food and Environment, the Department of Information Engineering, and the Department of Computer Science of the University of Pisa, together with the Department of Political Science, Communication and International Relations of the University of Macerata.
The programme is delivered in collaboration with the Institute of Information Science and Technologies “A. Faedo” (CNR-ISTI) and the Quinn Consortium, with the partnership of Agricolus S.r.l. and Apra.
